Orica’s HTS (High-Temperature Shift) project is part of their broader strategy to enhance the efficiency and environmental performance of their ammonia production process. The project includes significant maintenance and technological upgrades aimed at improving safety, reliability, and reducing emissions at their Kooragang Island facility. Milleen collaborated with Orica to develop a construction methodology that enabled Orica to construct the new HTS equipment in a very difficult to access part of the ammonia plant under strict control measures due to the highly volatile nature of the plant.
